Entre os dias 3 e 10 de Maio de
2013 a Ilha do Príncipe realiza a XI Reunião Internacional da REDBIOS, Rede de
Reservas da Biosfera da África Ocidental
(do Atlântico Este) e Macaronésia, dedicado ao tema “O papel das Reservas da
Biosfera no Desenvolvimento Local”. Ainda durante o evento realizar-se-á a
cerimónia oficial de entrega do certificado de Reserva da Biosfera da UNESCO à
Ilha do Príncipe.

Between the 3rd and the 10th of May, 2013, Principe
carries out the XI REDBIOS International meeting, West Africa and Macaronesia
Biosphere Reserves Network (the East Atlantic), dedicated to the theme
"The role of Biosphere Reserves in Local Development ". Also during
the event will be held the official
ceremony of the certificate of UNESCO Biosphere Reserve on the island of
Principe.
